ABOUT US
MC Project kits was born from the love of learning. It all started with a grade 7 Technology teacher that saw just how learners and parents struggle with project designs and the gathering of materials. A vision started and a husband-and-wife team began.

Our projects are carefully designed to ensure that learners can be actively involved in the building process and thus learning to love Technology in the process. The use of household materials is used where possible.

When you purchase our materials – there is no longer a need to drill holes or cut dowels with a saw. All our wooden materials are cut to size for you to start the building process immediately. We do not provide glue with our kits.

USE OF SITE
When you visit our site, we give you a limited license to access and use our information for personal use. You may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate purchases and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchases. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. The license to access and use the information on our site does not include the right to use any data mining robots or other extraction tools. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
We strive to ensure that our products are described as accurately as possible on our site, however, we do not warrant that the description is accurate. Where we become aware of any mistakes, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission. Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in true colour nor that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Lead-time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched within 24 hours of purchase Bulk orders may require a 1 – 3 day lead time before shipping. Should the product not be in stock we will inform you on the status of getting more stock. Every effort is made to deliver your order timeously; however, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence we will contact you via email and provide a revised delivery schedule.

PRODUCT ORDERS
Our products are for sale to adults over the age of eighteen (18) years. By proceeding to purchase through our site, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age. We supply and dispatch our products to customers countrywide. We endeavour to ensure that our products listed are current, however, we give no undertaking as to the availability of any product advertised on our site. Delivery of products is an additional charge of R80.

When you order from us, we require you to provide your name, physical delivery address, email address and telephone contact details. We undertake to take due care with this information, however in providing us with such information you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission or virus or malware.

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment has been processed.

Delivery of your ordered product(s) will be as set out on our site.

Where a product has been listed at the incorrect price or with incorrect descriptive information or image due to typographical error or similar oversight, we reserve the right to cancel a transaction. Where your credit card has been charged, we will immediately refund your credit card for the total amount debited.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND PRICING
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

We offer competitive prices on current products; your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any VAT and delivery charges where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

CREDIT CARD
We accept Visa, Maestro and MasterCard. All of your order details will be saved online under the My Account section available for use whenever you’re ready.

SECURITY POLICY
We accept Visa, Maestro, MasterCard payments online through our SAFE and SECURE merchant processor (powered by Yoco). All personal information (including your name, email address, street address, phone number, and order history) is encrypted for additional security. Sorry, we do not accept personal cheques.

We undertake to take all due care with any information which you may provide to us when accessing our site. However, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you may provide to us. Information you transmit to us is entirely at your own risk although we undertake to take reasonable steps to preserve such information in a secure manner. Our compliance with privacy legislation is set out in our privacy policy.

RETURN / REFUND POLICY
We know you’ll love our products, but if for some reason you are unhappy with any of our products, please contact us regarding any returns or exchanges and we’ll be happy to help. Please include your order number and product description with the reason for the return or exchange.

Please complete the ‘Return Request’ within 7 days of receiving your order and you can return any unwanted item to us for a refund (minus postage costs). You have 5 days, from the date of ‘Return Request’ to return an item(s). The products must be in its original re-saleable condition that you received it, with all tags still attached and in its original packaging. So don’t get too excited and pull the tags off before you are sure!

You as the customer are responsible for the payment of postage/shipping for returns. As MC Project Kits is not liable for any lost items being returned, we would recommend that you return the item(s) using a courier service for tracking purposes. Please email this tracking number to us so that we can look out for it. We can only offer a free return if an item you have received has a fault; in this situation, your return postage will be refunded once the item has been received by us.

We do not refund or exchange sale items and gift cards.

If your returned item(s) are in their original condition with tags on and in their original packaging, we’ll process your refund or exchange within 5 working days upon receipt of the item(s).

You will receive an email confirming that we have received your return and that you have been credited. Refunds will be to the original method of payment. Please allow between 3 and 10 working days for your bank to complete the transaction, depending on their processing time. This can vary between card issuers.

MONITORING
We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the site. We may investigate any reported violation of these terms and conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the site).

INDEMNITY
By accessing our site, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in connection with your use of our site.

LAW
These terms and conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the law of South Africa and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

If any provision in these terms and conditions is invalid under any law the provision will be limited, narrowed, construed or altered as necessary to render it valid but only to the extent necessary to achieve such validity. If necessary the invalid provision will be deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
To the full extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of an implied warranty or condition is limited to the supply of the goods and/or services again or payment of the costs of having those goods and/or services supplied again. We accept no liability for any loss whatsoever including consequential loss suffered by you arising from product/s we have supplied.

UPDATING OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these terms and conditions at any time. Changes to these terms and conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this site. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these terms and conditions at the site for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this site following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these terms and conditions, including such changes or updates.

CONSENT
I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to MC Project kits Pty. Ltd and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in any way and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by MC Project kits for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
